Strategic Cooperation Between HALAL COMPASS and TSE GLOBAL

An important step has been taken toward strengthening international trust and standardization in the field of halal certification.
Halal Compass, affiliated with the Islamic Foundation of the Netherlands (HDV), and TSE Global, an international conformity assessment body, have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to enhance quality, trust, and mutual recognition within the halal certification ecosystem.
This collaboration aims to strengthen the compliance of producers and service providers with local and international halal standards throughout all stages—from raw material input to the final product—enhancing consumer confidence and reinforcing the discipline of the halal approach in the Netherlands and Europe.
The parties will act in close cooperation not only in audit and certification activities to be conducted on the basis of OIC/SMIIC halal standards and relevant guideline documents, but also in auditor and expert trainings, joint awareness and knowledge-sharing programs, and the transfer of process-based best practices to third parties. Through this, it is intended to increase qualification and reliability across all sub-processes of halal conformity assessment.
TSE Global’s long-standing accreditation by the Halal Accreditation Agency (HAK) constitutes a significant assurance in terms of consistency, traceability, and international acceptance of the processes.
This strategic cooperation is not merely a memorandum signed between two institutions, but the beginning of a joint vision that will set an example in the international halal certification field. Halal Compass and TSE Global aim to contribute to the development of the global halal market based on the principles of transparency, trust, and sustainable quality in halal production and consumption.
