Production Controls

The types of inspections we recommend to help you evaluate your products during production processes:

First Product Inspection (FAI)
This inspection is performed at the beginning of production, but before mass production of your product begins. Initial Product Inspection is typically performed immediately after the manufacturer begins producing your first mass production samples. An Initial Product Inspection will help you resolve any production issues that may exist during the initial phase of production. This inspection is especially recommended if a Pre-Production Inspection has not been performed.

What do we check during the Initial Product Inspection?
· The criteria for the requested product are understood correctly by the supplier.
· Technical suitability and quantity of raw materials and components used in production
· Approved sample/first production samples according to the criteria you shared
· Compliance of production plan and production processes
· Quality control records

Inspection During Production (DPI)
This inspection is carried out in the middle of mass production. In addition to controlling the quality of your products, the progress of production according to plan is also checked.

What do we check during Inspection During Production?
· Raw material
· Product appearance according to Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) parameters
· Workmanship quality
· Size and weight
· Functionality
· Labeling and logos
· Packaging and wrapping
· Unfinished products
· Production plan
· Special criteria requested
· Defective products (optional) — see: Defect Inspection (DI)
Error Inspection (DI)
Defect Inspection is performed during In-Production Inspection and/or Pre-Loading Inspection. If performed in In-Production Inspection, Defect Inspection can identify defects in a mass production set before production is finished and your products are prepared for shipping.

What do we check during Defect Inspection?
· Presence of faulty products
· Reprocessing and remanufacturing of faulty products (if possible)
· Checking again whether the products have been reprocessed and making sure that the products to be shipped are error-free.

Production Monitoring (PM)
Controlling the manufacturing and/or assembly of the manufacturing/product made on behalf of the customer in accordance with the project at the manufacturer's factory and/or assembly site. Audit of organizations (QA programs) involved in the construction and/or operation of the facility, including personnel qualifications and Quality Assurance manuals.
