The second surveillance audit of the ISO 55001 Asset Management System, which was initially certified in 2022 by TSE Global for SOCAR Türkiye—Turkey’s largest integrated industrial group—was successfully completed last week. The audit covered Petkim and STAR Refinery, the group companies located in Aliağa, and was carried out by a team of five auditors over the course of two days, including production, field, and office inspections.
SOCAR Türkiye, which operates one of the country’s largest infrastructure facilities, stands out with its proactive and innovative approach to applying the fundamental pillars of the Asset Management System. These include the management of physical assets at optimum value, maintenance planning, life cycle management, asset acquisition, operations, major maintenance, and availability. The company also distinguishes itself by implementing parameters such as waste prevention, efficiency enhancement, and full control across the entire organization.
